Educator Spotlight: Jamaal Ali, Lead Teacher, Illahee

​Something that I have been really enjoying is watching all the kids learn and master climbing trees. At first, in the beginning of the year we had one child try to climb and they after some practice, about 3 months, they had gotten to a pretty incredible height.  This inspired others to and they worked together to help each other climb. There will be at least two of them coaching one in the best path and cheering them on. I think every kid in my class has at least attempted to climb a tree last month.
