Learning through play, exploration & observation:
Our Tanglewood After School Program is modeled with special attention to natural, daily and seasonal rhythms, child-led exploration and observation and inclusive community building. The heart and aim of our program is to provide a sensory rich environment where kids have more space to develop critical skills that can prepare them for focused learning. Outside in nature, a child can have more space; space to practice creative problem solving, build confidence and spatial awareness, learn to assess risk, and strengthen physical development.

Student Requirements

~ Children are eligible for the after school program at if they are 5 years old by July 1, 2026 or enrolled in kindergarten.

Program Enrollment Steps

  1. Submit Interest Form - This creates your Brightwheel account and let’s us know about you and your family
  2. Schedule your tour - Visit during program hours ( 9:30 AM–12:30 PM) and see outdoor learning in action. Our Program Director, Jamaal, will be your guide.
  3. Complete Registration Form & Pay Registration Fee - Pay the $50 registration fee to reserve your child's place. 4
  4. Complete Enrollment Form & Pay Tuition Deposit - To secure your child's spot, a non-refundable deposit equal to one month's tuition is due by July 31, 2026 or prior to starting in the program. This deposit is applied to your final month (June 2027) or the final 30 days of enrollment if your child withdraws before the program year ends.
