Explore your connection to nature while growing your sense of self and community. Moon Mothers is a program aimed at helping womxn explore meaningful self-care and community-care rituals that bring us back to nature. At each gathering, the group will spend time leading and participating in discussions, readings, sample exercises, meditations, activities and crafts related to cultivating our relationship with each other and the natural world. In addition to guided group learning, the leader will carve-out time for each participant to explore and seek out their own personal journey. As an individual you will be invited to “wander” and enjoy your own personal time away from the group to take a walk, meditate, create, enjoy a sit spot, or simply listen to the earth around you.
Moon Mothers will take place in a park setting and may rotate through different parks. It will be 100% outdoors, rain or shine. It is here, in nature, that we find our connections, our courage, our confidence and our creativity.
