Krystal Meiners
Co-Founder and Board Member
Krystal is the mother to two spirited children that have inspired her love of outdoor education.. She is also the Vice President of Marketing for a New York-based wealth management and impact investing firm and was previously the director of marketing for one of Seattle’s only mission-based, sustainable real estate developers. Her work has always been at the intersection of design, art, community and the environment – working with businesses that encourage people to make a positive impact in the world with every choice. Krystal has been involved in organizing local communities around nature-based education for small children in both Seattle and Bremerton since her son, Jorian, was born. She spends most of her weekends exploring Kitsap and the Hood Canal with her family – painting, hiking, writing terrible poetry and shucking oysters. She claims that the only parenting book that she has ever read was “Last Child in The Woods” by Richard Louv. Krystal is a New Orleans native who now resides in Bremerton in the Union Hill neighborhood with her partner, Justin, her son Jorian (7) and her daughter Violet (5).
