Kathryn Stenberg
Site Supervisor

Being the second oldest of nine, Kathryn was given lots of opportunities to work with young children and she went on to get a degree in Family & Consumer Science with a teaching certificate. She taught in Seattle for five years before moving into household management, which combined her love of families and organization. Kathryn and her family moved to Bremerton in 2019 and enrolled their oldest at Barnacles & Bees in early 2020. Since then she has had several roles: parent mentor, lead preschool teacher, and site supervisor. Her current role allows her to do her favorite things: connect with families, support the teaching staff, and use her organizational skills behind the scenes. Kathryn can usually be found outside with her family and friends exploring the forests and water.
