Carla Wiemers
​Nature Immersion Educator - Illahee State Park (Grade School & Early Childhood)

Carla is an east coast transplant to Washington State.  With a Masters in Elementary Education, and a desire to share her passion for the outdoors, Carla found Barnacles and Bees to be the perfect home for her!  As a champion frog and snake catcher, as well as a professional four leaf clover finder, she brings her sense of wonder and excitement for the natural world to every program.  Carla is happiest outdoors and can most often be found running wild through the forest, paddling on a river, exploring shorelines and mountain tops, or curled up with a good book and her cats.  ​
